Only about 7km from the ski slopes so convenient but cheaper than staying in the ski resort. Easy to find. Nice restaurant.
Our room faced the main road, if we stayed again we would ask for a room on the other side of the hotel facing the mountain views.
The location was brilliant, and the fact we had a balcony was wonderful
The restaurant was quite cold in the evening
Beautiful views, good ensuite bathroom, clean starched bedding
Food in restaurant, lack of entartainment (because we went in summer, and perhaps main entertainment there is skiing), rather cold swimming pool with lots of insects dropping to it from the trees
Very impressed. El Guerra exceeds what you would expect from a 2 star hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and full size bath which was appreciated after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. For the difference in price, I would definitely stay here again rather than in one of the resort hotels - it´s only 10-15 minutes drive into Sierra Nevada and parking is easy.
Probably not ideal for younger people wanting a bit of apres ski action! But perfect if you just want to relax in the evening and have a nice meal.
This is the third time we have stayed there and each time the bunk beds for the children cause problems. They are too high and dangerously positioned - in some cases near a window and there is no guard rail on the top bunk.
I loved the mountain views, the peaceful atmosphere (we visited in the summer) and being able to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Easy check in and departure. Perfect quadruple room, if a little hot. Friendly, child-friendly staff and a full breakfast to set you up for the day.....really good value.
Located conveniently for ski trip to Sierra Nevada and visits to Granada.Very good value for money. Relaxed atmosphere.
disappointed with quality of meals. Location only allowed access by cars...no walking tracks or even footpaths. Would only consider this place for winter sports. Too far from main city.
Cheap & clean.
Restuarant staff tried to serve extra cost items when fixed price menu had been chosen.
Good staff, reasonable prices, wonderful food. A great location for the ski resort and Granada.
Honest hotel, good for larger groups.
The restaurant is honest but far from perfect, undercooked pork (!), overcooked pasta, oily fried fries or squid, etc...
nice views, quite place if you have room with mountain view, free parking
very weak wi-fi in the room, highly acoustic rooms.
Frankly, very little!
A most miserable man grudingly recieved us and even though we asked for a quiet room we were exposed to the scream of performance cars and motor bikes zooming up the mountain road. There ia no airconditioning so we had the choice of heat or noise, bad sleep resulted. The breakfast was very poor. The hotel seemed run down and sad. Not an enjoyable stay.
The hotel was ideal for our needs - to explore the Siera Nevada mountain range. Would also have been ideal to see Granada City but we as we have visited that 3 times in that last 2 years we decided to give it a miss this time. Facilities in the room whilst not luxury were good - view from room balcony was however outstanding.
